Until know, I don't think I realized what an impact Ms. Leal had on my child, how wonderful she made 4th grade and how now so many other children will miss the opportunity and experience of having her as a teacher. I agree with Mr. Rowe, succeeding would be the ultimate legacy. As these children grow and continue their education, the knowledge and determination she implanted will also grow. She wrote to my child that she planned to be there for every milestone in his life. With the knowledge and zest for learning she gave to him, she will still be there. Sometimes you don’t realize what you have until it is gone.
